Memorando in that I certify that Sally Chavers was free born and was raised by me and was set at liberty both at the date I gave her brother Bartley Chavers. Certified under my hand this 15th of February 1796. John Sutherlin At a court held for Pittsylvania County the 15thday of February 1796. The within certificate was exhibited into court by the within named John Sutherlin, on whose motion the same was ordered to be recorded by the court.
