Know all men by these presents, that I, Frederick
Vaccari, of Alexandria D.C. do hereby emancipate & set
free a negro woman named Ann Berry & discharge
her from all servitude or slavery to me & my heirs forever;
which said negro was sold to me by Henry Chatham, by bill
of sale dated [blank] day of Decr. [December] 1830, for the term of sixteen
months, at the end of which time it was provided in said
bill that she should be set free. Witness my hand
& seal this seventh day of August 1833.

At a United States Circuit Court of the District of Columbia, continued
& held for the County of Alexandria the fourteenth day of November
1833, this deed of emancipation from Frederick Vaccari to Ann Berry was
proved by the oaths of Reuben Johnston Jr. & James H. Chatham to be the
act & deed of said Vaccari, & ordered to be recorded.
