Know all men by these presents that we Korn & Wisemiller of Alexandria do hereby declare & pronounce a
negro boy named Cesar which we purchased of Charles Love free on the expiration of twenty one years from
this 1st day of September 179five- Witness an hand & seal

At a court of Hustings held for the Town of Alexandria the 7th day of May 1798. This deed of Emancipation
from Korn and Wisemiller to Negro Cesar, was proved by the oath of Charles Love and ordered to be
recorded.
