In the name of God Amen. I Eunice Hatcher of Bedford County and State of Virginia do make
this my last will and testament in manner and form as follows.
Item, It is my will and desire that my negro woman Teaner shall be free from and after my death,
and it is my will and desire that the said negro woman Teaner shall have and possess one half of
my track of land whereon I now reside during her life and after her death the track of land that
fall to the negro woman Teaner for during her life and at her decease give the above mentioned
land to Mary Frances Millions to her and heirs being forever free from the claim or claims of any
person or persons whatsoever
Item, I also give unto the said Mary F. Millions my cupboard, one chest, one feather bed, sled
and furniture the other half of my land and one half of the balance of any estate including debts
that is due me , to have and to hold the same forever- Item, I give unto my negro woman Teaner
after my death the balance of my estate including the other half of the debts due me to have and
to hold forever.
.Item, It is my will that there shall not be any of my property sold after my death, but that it
should be divided equally between Mary F. Millions and Teaner after giving to Mary F. Millions

and testament, Signed, sealed the 8th day of June 1838,

At a Court held for Bedford County the 23rd day of September 1839.
This last will and testament of Eunice Hatcher deceased was produced in court proved by oath of
Nicholas Robertson and Henry F. Tate subscribing witnesses thereto and ordered to be recorded
and at a court held for said Bedford County the 28th day of October 1839. On the motion for
James O. Hensley the executor in said will named who made oath and gave bond of security in
the penalty of $600 conditioned according to law, certificate was granted him for obtaining a
probate of said will in due form.
