I Thomas Moorman of Campbell County from Mature Deliberate consideration being fully persuaded that
freedom is the right of all men kind do therefore declare that having under my care a Negro man named
William Jackson Aged about Twenty three years I do therefore for myself my Heirs &c relinquish all my right
Title claim or interest either to his person or to any estate he may hereafter aquire [acquire]
In witness hereof I Have hereunto set my hand and seal this 7th Day of 3rd Month 1793
Thomas Moorman {Seal} - At Court Held for Campbell County April 4th 1793. The within Manumission was Acknowledged by Thomas
Moorman & Ordered to be Recorded.
