We Charles Lynch John Lynch & Sam Mitchell from a Conviction that all men are by nature free & agreeable
to the Command of Our Saviour Christ believe it our duty to do unto all men as we would they should do unto
us. We do hereby under an existing Act of the Virginia Assembly liberate the following Negroes. To wit,
Robert[,] Feander[,] James & Harry which they shall have a right to Claim on the first day of June in the year
Seventeen Hundred & ninety five.
In Witness whereof we do hereunto set our hands & Seals this 10th day of June 1793

proved by the oath of Gideon Lea a
witness thereto subscribed and at a Court
held for the said County the 11th Day of April 1803
The same was further proved by the Oath
of Henry Ward another witness thereto
subscribed and Ordered to be Recorded
