September first 1791, Campbell County. I the subscriber having under my care a negroe boy
named Robert aged eleven years the thirteenth of June last and being desirous of giving him his
freedom do for myself my heirs do relinquish all right title and same to the said Robert or any
other estate he shall acquire after he shall arrive at the age of Twenty one years which will be the
year of our Lord 1801, Given under my hand Day and date aforesaid. …

The within Manumission was acknowledged by Thomas Wright party thereto and ordered to be
recorded.
