I Mary Goode of Cambell County having under my care Two Negro namely Sarah aged Twenty six years and
Frank aged three years, Do hereby relinquish all my Title and Claim whatsoever to said Negros unto David
Terrell and William Ferrell being parties thereto, with the intent that they the said, David & William may
Emancipate and sett free the above said Negroes; And we David Terrell & William Ferrell of the aforesaid
County do for ourselves our heirs &c Emancipate and sett free the abovesaid negroes Sarah, and do hereby
relinquish all our right Title interest and claim or pretention of Claim whatsoever either to her Person or to any
Estate she may hereafter Acquire. As also the above said Frank who we also Emancipate and set free; And we
do for our selves our heirs &c relinquish all our Right, Title, Interest and Claim or pretention of Claim
whatsoever either to his person or to his Estate he may Acquire after he shall attain to the age of Twenty one
years, when he shall Enjoy his freedom in as full and Ample a manner as if he had been born of free Parents
without any Interruption from us or any person Claiming for by or under us. in Witness whereof we have
hereunto sett our hands and seals this 3rd day of the 3rd month 1783.

This Manumission was Acknowledged by David Terrell and William Ferrall Two of the Parties thereto. And
Proved by the oaths of John Ward & John Webster Gilbert with respect to Mary Goode the Other Party thereto
And Oredered [Ordered] to be Recorded[.]
