I Micajah Terrell of Cammell [Campbell] County being fully perswaded [persuaded] that freedom is the
natural Right of all mankind and that it is my duty to do unto others as I would Dein to be done by in the Like
situation and haveing under my Care 4 negroes of the following names and ages Daniel about 37 years Frank
about 27 Dinah about 44 Fuller about 26 years I hereby Emancipate and set free the above named Slaves and
do for my Self my heirs executors and administrators Relinquish all my Right title in trust and Claim or
pretentions of Claim whatsoever Either to their persons or to any Estate they may here after Acquire. and
haveing also 2 negroes under my Care now in their minority of the following names and ages Ester 6 years old
afd [aforesaid] 24 of afd 4th month Last. Lusy 2 years the 15 of this instant whom I also Emancipate and set
free and I do for my self my heirs Executors and administrators Relinquish all my Right title in trust and
Claim or pretention of Claim whatsoever Either to their persons or to any Estate they may acquire after they
shall arive [arrive] to the age of Eighteen years when the said negroes and their property are to injoy [enjoy]
their freedom in as full and ample manner as if they had been born of free parrents with out any interruption
from me or any person Claiming for by or under me in witness whereof I have here unto set my hand and Seal
This fifth Day of afd 9th month 1782 Micajah Terrell (Seal) At a Court held for Campbell County September 5th 1782.
This Manumission was acknowledged by
Micajah Terrill Part thereto and Ordered to be Recorded.
