Know all men by these presents, that I, Mary Kobler of the Town of Freder=
=icksburg and State of Virginia, have emancipated and freed, and by these presents, do
emancipate and forever liberate and Set free, a man by the name of Daniel, who is about
28 years old--In Confirmation hereof, I hereto set my hand and seal this first
day of April in the year of our Lord 1846.

In the Hustings Court for the Corporation of Fredericksburg, April 9" 1846.
The foregoing deed of emancipation from Mary Kobler to Da=
=niel, was proved in Court by the Oaths of the two Witnesses thereto, and ordered to
be recorded.
