To all to whom these presents shall come Know Ye
that I have by these presents doth for and in conside=
=ration of the sum of Twenty pounds by me received hereby
set free and emancipate a negroe boy named Jack and
do by these presents release and give up all right title &
claim to the said boy Jack which may be claimed by me
my heirs or assigns or any person claiming by from or under
them, In witness hereof I have hereunto set my hand
and seal this 14th day of August 1794

the 24th July 1795. This writing from under the hand of
Conrad Hamburger for the emancipation of Negro Jack was proved
