To all persons to whom these presents shall come. I Isaac Siller of
the Borough of Winchester and County of Frederick in Virginia
send greeting, know ye that for and in consideration of the faithful
service of my negro man, William, and for divers others good causes
and considerations. Specially moving me thereto have Manumitted,
freed, released, discharged, and by these presents do Manumit,
free, release, and discharge the above said Negro man (William)
from all manner of Slavery, Bondage, & Service of Slavery & duty of
Servitude hereafter that might arise or to be done or demanded
by me my heirs, Exors, Administrators or assigus by any Law, Usage, or
Custom, and all Right, Title, interest, property, claim or demand of,
in or to the said Negroe man forever as fully, freely and absolutely
as I the said Isaac Siller, may, might or could have held and
engaged him by any means whatsoever. In Witness wherof. . .
I have hereunto set my hand and Seal this eighth day of the Sixth month in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and eighty five.

This Instrument of Writing was acknowledged by Isaac Siller
party thereto and the same being examined & approved by the Court
is ordered to be recorded.
