This deed made this 18th day of January 1858 between Armistead Croson, Wesley Croson, and Pearson Croson, heirs at law and legatees under the last will of Warren Croson dec’d of probate in the County Court of Fairfax County of the first party and Fanny, servant, bequeathed by said will to the said parties by said Warren Croson of the second part, the said parties of the first part in consideration of the sum of one dollar and other good causes them thereunto moving, do grant, bargain and sell unto the said woman Fanny her time and liberate, manumit, and set free from servitude said woman forever. Witness the following signatures and seals.
