To all to whom these presents shall or may come know ye that I Samuel Adams of Fairfax County and Commonwealth of Virginia for divers good causes and considerations me hereunto moving, do by these presents discharge, set free, and emancipate the negro slaves now in my possession in the following manner to wit: James to be free at the end of five years from this date; Henry aged fifteen & Will three years old be free respectively as they arrive at the age of twenty five, Sarah aged forty three, and Winny thirty now free and at full liberty; Milly aged nineteen; Jane aged thirteen, Sall aged ten, & Lucy aged two years to be free and all their increase as they respectively arrive at the age of twenty five years. In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand & seal this 10th day July 1792.
