I John Walton of the County of Brunswick & State of Virginia
do hereby set free from Bondage the two slaves hereafter mentioned,
Vizt, One Negroe Man named Ned & one Negro Woman
named Poll. to be free after my decease. And do for
myself my Heirs, Exors., Admtors and Assigns release unto
unto the said Negro all my right and all my claim whatsoever
as to their persons or any estate they may acquire hereby
declaring the said Negroes absolutely free without any
interruption from any person or persons claiming under
me at the above mentioned period. In Witness whereof I
have hereunto set my hand & affixed my seal this fifteenth
Day of January Anno Domini 1796
