I Edward Dromgoole of the County of Brunswick &
State of Virginia do hereby set free from Bondage the several Slaves
hereafter Mentioned and the future Increase of the females Vizt.
One Negroe woman Named Bet aged Thirty seven years to be free the first
day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and ninety six
Boatswain aged Twenty four years to be free the first day of January
one thousand seven Hundred & ninety two Adam aged nineteen
years last October to be free the first day of January one
thousand seven hundred and ninety seven. Daniel aged seventeen
years last September to be free the first day of January one
Thousand seven hundred & ninety nine Hannah aged fifteen
years last November to be free the first day of January one thousand
seven hundred & ninety seven Austin Aged thirteen years
last June to be free the first day of January one Thousand eight
hundred & two Bob aged nine years last November to be
free the first day of January One thousand Eight Hundred & seven
Violet aged seven years last December to be free the first day of
January one thousand Eight Hundred & five Fanny aged five
years last March to be free the first day of April one thousand
Eight Hundred & seven Clarissa aged one year last August
to be free the first day of January One thousand Eight Hundrd.
& eleven Orange Born the twelfth day of last January to be free
the first day of January one thousand Eight Hundred & Eighteen
And do for myself my heirs and Administrators and assigns
release unto the said Negroes at the above Mentioned dates
together with the future increase of the said females all my
Rights & all my claim whatsover as to their persons or any
estate they May acquire hereby declaring the said negroes
absolutely free without any interruption from me or any person
or persons claiming under me at the above dates In
Witness Whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixes my
seal this 27th day of June one thousand seven hundred &
Ninety one

Dromgoole party thereto to be his Act & Deed & Ordered to b
