Know all men by these presents that I Lewis Chastain of the County of Westmoreland do believe that God created all men equally free and that slavery with all its horrid consequences to be a national, political and religious evil, and do hereby emancipate and set free the following person (viz) Robin Williams over twenty one and under forty five, and I do hereby relinquish all right, claim, title or interest in the said Robin Williams from and after this date for myself, my heirs, Exors, and Admors forever. In witness whereof I the said Lewis Chastain have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this twenty sixth day of June one thousand seven hundred and ninety seven.
