Be it known to all whom it may concern that I William Franks of Westmoreland County and State of Virginia being possessed of, in and to the property in a certain negro woman slave named Frank (or Franky) have for diverse consideration me thereunto moving manumitted and freed, and by these presents do manumit and forever set free the said negro woman slave Frank together with any child yet unborn of which she may be [?onseint?] and all and every child or children or whom she may hereafter be the mother: hereby relinquishing for myself, my heirs and Exors all right, title and interest in and to not only the said negro Frank but also such child or children as aforesaid: And I do hereby declare the said negro winch Frank to be ever hereafter exonerated from all and every claim or demand whatsoever of mine, my heirs, or Exors for any service or gratuity in consideration of her freedom. In witness whereof I the said William Franks have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this 23rd day of April 1791.
