I do hereby certify that I have emancipated and set free and at full liberty Bristow, Ben and Daphny agreeable to the Act of Assembly in that case made and provided. Given under my hand and seal this 17th August 1798.

At a court continued and held for Middlesex County at the courthouse in Urbanna on Tuesday the 23rd of October 1798. This certificate of emancipation of Ben, Bristow, and Daphny from Richard H. Corbin was presented in court and proved by the oath of William Segar one of the witnesses thereto and ordered to be certified.

At a court held for Middlesex County at the courthouse in Urbanna on Monday the 22nd day of April 1799. This deed of emancipation from Richard H. Corbin for setting free Bristow, Ben & Daphny was further proved by the oath of Frederick Noele and ordered to be recorded.
