I Robert B. Doggett of the County of Lancaster and State of Virginia do constitute this to be my last will and testament.
I give and bequeath my land to my sisters Emily and Mary and to the children of my sister Nancy Lunsford except so much as shall be disposed of hereafter.
I desire my woman Fanny to be free, and I give her five acres of my land in some eligible part as a home during her natural life, the same to be selected by my exor hereafter to be named.
I give and bequeath my man Tom to Arabella Doggett daughter of my uncle Cyrus Doggett.
The remainder of my estate I wish applied to the payment of my debts and the balance if any to be divided equally among my sisters Emily and Mary Doggett and the children of my sister Nancy Lunsford. I desire Uncle Cyrus Doggett to be the executor of this my last will and testament.
Witness my hand and seal this the 2nd day of May 1839.
