And having also twenty one other negroes now in their minority of the following names to wit: Aaron, Isaac, Priss, Jim (son of Lidia), Ben, Frank, Cate, Moses, Jesse, Tanner, Mourning, Linn, Patience, Angee, Crecia, Jim (son of Bett), Esther, Willis, Rachael, Michael & Exum, who I in like manner hereby emancipate & set free; yet I believe it right for me to act as a guardian over them until the males arrive to the age of twenty one & the females to the age of eighteen years. I do for myself, my heirs, Exors, & Administrators relinquish all my right, title, interest & claim or pretention of claim whatsoever either to their persons or to any estate they may acquire after they shall attain to the ages above said which will be nearly at the following times, to wit, Priss on the first day of the first month 1785, Aaron on the first of the first month 1786, Frank on the first of the first month 1787, Isaac the first of the first month 1788, Jim at the same time, Ben & Cate the first of the first month 1790, Mourning & Patience the first of the first month 1794, Tanner the first of the first month 1793, Moses & Angee the first of the first month 1795, Jesse & Crecia the first of the first month 1796, Linn & Esther the first of the first month 1797, Jim (son of Bett) the first of the first month 1799, Rachael the same time, Willis the first of the first month 1800, Michael & Exum the first of the first month 1802, at which times all the above named negroes respectively & their posterity to enjoy their full freedom without any interruption from me or any person claiming under me. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand & seal this twenty second day of the eighth month Anno Domini one thousand seven hundred & eighty two.
