Statement of Specific Legacies Devised by the Will of Peter Smock dec’d delivered to the legatees
1 riding horse, saddle & bridle, a negro woman named Sarah and her child named John, also Andrew the blacksmith and blacksmith’s tools bequeathed by the will of Peter Smock to James Smock as therein stated delivered to said James Smock & receipt marked.
1 feather bed bequeathed to Mary Smock delivered to her & receipt marked
1 negro girl named Milly bequeathed to Ann E. Smock delivered her by receipt marked
A negro man named John bequeathed to Elizabeth Williams delivered her husband Richard Williams to do
The following property was bequeathed to Sally Smock for and during her widowhood for the support of herself and children to wit: the slaves Christmas, George, Nathan, Jefferson, Lewis, little Jacob, Suckey and Lucinda also all the household and kitchen furniture as it stood in the house at the death of the testator, five horses, one wagon & gear, one cart, her choice of 12 head of cattle, [blank] hoggs, 250 [blank] & pigs, all the plantation and farming utensils [blank] at the death of the testator, also the following slaves [blank] two years & then to be free also slave Sam…..[blank] the said planation at the death of the Testator delivered the said Sally Smock [blank] named Harry unconditionally bequeathed to William [blank] receipt.
