Know all men by these presents that I Samuel Slaughter of the County of Culpeper have manumitted, emancipated and set free, and by these presents for me, my heirs, Executors, and administrators do manumit, emancipate and set free my negro man slave George. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 22nd day of November 1803.

At a court continued and held for Culpeper County the 22nd day of Nov. 1803
This deed of emancipation from Samuel Slaughter to his negro man slave George was acknowledged by the said Samuel and ordered to be recorded.
