June 10th 1828, Scott County and State of Virginia, Witnesseth I do this day bind myself my heirs executors administrators and assigns to Emancipate and set a[sic] Liberty my Coloured girl Clara after she serving me my heirs executors administrators and assigns ten years and all her children borned[sic] in that time to serve until they are Twenty One Years and further I bind myself my heirs executors administrators and assigns to comfortably board lodge and bed in a comfortable manner and givem them one good suit of comfortable cloths each. In Witness I set my hand and affix my seal, the day and year above written.
