June 10th 1828, Scott and State of Virginia. Witnesseth I do this day bind myself my heirs executors administrators or assigns to Emancipate and set a[sic] Liberty my black girl Mary after she serving me ten years my heirs executors administrators or assigns and her increase until they are Twenty One Years old, and I further bind myself my heirs executors administrators and assigns to comfortably board cloth and Lodge them until they are at Liberty and give them a good comfortable suit of Cloths at the expiration of their time, In Witness I have set my hand and affixed my Seal, The day and year above written.
