Know all men by these presents that I John Bolling of the County of Chesterfield do hereby manumit emancipate and set free my mulatto woman slave named Jane aged about twenty six years at present employed in the family of Samuel Myers in the city of Richmond and do hereby release acquit and discharge the said mulatto woman slave from all services to me my heirs Executors or administrators. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this twenty nineth day of January one thousand seven hundred and ninety eight.
