Text of Freedom Document

In the name of God the Father God the Son & God the Holy Gost [sic] Amen: I George Kleinhoff of Chesterfield County and State of Virginia being in sound and perfect mind and memory, thanks to God do this twenty fourth day of September in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and ninety three make and publish this my last will and testament. First I give my sole [sic] to god and my body to the earth to be buried in a decent manner.
Item. I give my man Cornby his freedom.
Item. I give my woman Hannah her freedom.
I give to William Pasture Smith son of Granville Smith a negro woman named Flora and her daughter Sal.
I desire that all my remaining estate of every kind be sold for price at twelve months until in bond and good security to carry in trust from date if not punctually paid the amount arising from my estate sold I give to my nephew John Jocelyn Kleinhoff & son of my brother John Kleinhoff of Barbados.
Lastly I appoint Abraham Salle Arthur Gravis and John I Kleinhoff sole Executors of this my last will and testament to see the same performed according to my true intent and meaning.
In witness whereof I the said George Kleinhoff have set my hand and seal this day and year above written sealed & signed & delivered in the presence of
