Know all men by these presents that I Thomas Crow of [illegible] County for humane causes do hereby emancipate & release from slavery Nell a negro woman heretofore my slave now about thirty years or upwards of age & do in behalf of my self & my heirs relinquish & renounce all right interest & title to her for ever saving to myself & heirs the service of her children hereafter to be born (if any) until they arrive respectively to the age of twenty one years. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this 12th August 1800.

This deed of emancipation from Thomas Crow to Nell formerly his negro woman, was acknowledged in court by the said Thomas Crow and ordered to be recorded.
