To all whom it may concern know ye that I Benjamin Jones of the County of Brunswick for sundry good causes doth by these presents for myself and my heirs emancipate discharge and set at full liberty as the act of Virginia provides in that case from myself my heirs and all persons claiming under me forever hereafter all my negroes and their future increase named Shadrac aged fifty six years, Nell thirty four, Betty thirty, Will twenty eight, David twenty five, Enoss nineteen, Moses nineteen, Charles fifteen, Bob twenty four, Lewis twelve, Samuel eight, Ned son of Molley five, Joseph one, Andrew three, Moriah thirty five, Prissy ten, Polly eight, Judy three, Molley thirty three, Hannah ten, Delilah four from and after recording this deed reserving to myself the service of all such among them as are now under the age of twenty one years until they arrive to the said age of twenty one years. As witness my hand and seal this seventeenth day of February in the year of our Lord eighteen hundred & one.
