Know all men by these presents that I James W Clark attorney for Sarah Myrick widow of Owen Myrick dec’d for and in consideration of the sum of one dollar current money to them in hand paid the receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge do for myself my heirs Executors & assigus release and relinquish all right and title in law and equity to all the slaves emancipated by the said Owen Myrick dec’d in his last will and testament and I also relinquish all right, interest, property, claim & demand whatsoever in and to the lands devised the slaves in the said Owen Myrick’s will as witness my hand and seal this 25th day of Sept 1797.
