To all those whom this may concern, know ye that in consideration of three hundred dollars tome in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged that I John Harris have sold unto Abram Haskins three negroes Aimy his wife Hilliard and Hannah his children and by these presents do sell and deliver the aforesaid negroes and warrant them against the claim or claims of all persons whatsoever as witness my hand seal this sixteenth day of Jany eighteen and five.

At a Court held for Powhatan County the 16th day of January 1805. This bill of sale from John Harris to Abram Haskins was presented in court and acknowledged by the said Harris to be his act and deed and thereupon ordered to be recorded.
