Know all men by these presents that I Abner Crump of the County of Powhatan for divers good causes and considerations me thereto moving have by these presents emancipated and set free Rachel Holt, Ann Maria Holt, Salley Holt, & Josiah Holt children of the said Rachel Holt and I do hereby for myself & my heirs & relinquish all my estate right title & interest in and to the said Rachel, Ann Maria, & Salley & their increase, and I also relinquish my estate, right, title & interest to the said Josiah. In testimony whereof I have hereto set my hand and affixed my seal this 21st day of July in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and ninety six.
