I Francis Donati of the County of Nottoway being of sound mind and memory do make and ordain this my last will and testament as followeth.
It is my will and desire that my Executor hereafter named use every means in his power to set free agreeable to the laws of this Commonwealth my negro woman Juda and her child Fanny Elizabeth.
It is my will and desire that my whole Estate both real and personal (except the said Juda and her child Fanny Elizabeth) be sold by my Executor on twelve months credit, and after paying all my just debts, the balance of money arising from such sale I give and bequeath unto Fanny Elizabeth daughter of Juda directed to be set free above, but if the said Fanny Elizabeth should depart this life before she attains the age of twenty one years then and int hat case it is my desire that the money arising from the sale of my estate be put in the hands of the vestry or trustees of the Parish of Nottoway for the time being, for the purpose of educating orphan boys or such whose parents are not able to support them at the discretion of the said Trustees.
And lastly I do nominate and appoint my friend James Henderson Executor of this my last will hereby revoking and annulling all former wills heretofore made. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 30th day of March 1793.

At a court held for Nottoway County April the 5th 1793. This last will and testament of Francis Donati deceased was exhibited in court and proved by the oath of the witnesses thereto and ordered to be recorded. James Henderson the Executor therein named in court refused to take upon himself the burden of the said Executorship. On the motion of Francis and Robert Fitzgerald who gave bond with security & took the oath required by law certificate for obtaining letters of administration with the will annexed of the said Francis Donati dec’d Estate is granted them in due form.
