I Ursula Mosby of the County of Goochland believing that all men have an equal and just right to freedom, and having in my possession the following slaves to wit Brisco aged about 35 years, Sam 34 years, Abram 25, Henry 23, Barlet 16, Fanny 15, Hanna 13, Amey 12, Dicey 11, Jack 11, Rhoda 8, Beck 8, Moses 7, David between 4-5, Frank 4 years, Jordan 9 and Isaac four months old, which I do hereby emancipate and set free the males when they shall arrive to the age of twenty one years, and the females when they shall arrive to the age of eighteen years. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this twelfth day of the Sve [sic] month in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and ninety four (1794).

At a court held for Goochland County June the seventeenth 1794
Samuel Parsons and James B. Pleasants proved this deed of emancipation in solemn form to be the act and deed of Ursula Mosby which was ordered to be recorded.
