Know all men by these presents that I Benjamin Crawley of Amelia County in the State of Virginia by virtue of the Act of Assembly in that case made and provided do hereby emancipate and set free from bondage the following slaves or servants namely Harry a negro man aged fifty six, Sepio aged forty four, Lucas aged forty two, Davis aged forty, Ned aged thirty eight, Guy aged forty five, Moses aged forty three, Bob aged thirty two, Russell aged thirty, Jess aged thirty, Ned aged twenty three, James aged twenty eight, Patt aged thirty eight, Grace aged thirty seven, [?Ullsey?] aged thirty four, Patt aged thirty, Marge aged twenty seven, Dulcey aged twenty five, Hannah aged twenty five, Judah aged twenty three, [?Anerky] aged twenty three, Tom a boy aged eighteen, Davy aged fourteen, Cate aged thirteen, Jacob aged eleven, Harry aged twelve, Charles aged eight, Ned aged seven, Ralph aged six, Jerry aged two, tom aged two, Geddy aged two, Ned aged two, Billy aged two, John aged six months, the ages of the girls under twenty one Phillis a girl seventeen, Molly aged sixteen, Lawson aged fifteen, Clarisa aged eight, Mary aged six, Elee aged three, Amey aged two, Lawson aged nine, Ellen aged seven, Betty aged six months, Hannah aged a fortnight Pall aged eight, Sally aged four, Mary aged five, Solomon a boy aged six months, and do hereby by these presents for myself my heirs executors administrators and assigns grant, release and for quit claim unto the said negroes respectively all my right, title, interest and all claim whatsoever as to the property, person or to any estate they may have or may hereafter respectively acquire hereby declaring the said negroes respectively absolutely emancipated and free without any interruption, [?lett?], hindrance or impediment whatsoever from me or any person or persons claiming by from or under me.
