To all whom it may concern – Know ye that I Alexander Walker sole executor of Sarah Walker late of Augusta County and Commonwealth of Virginia by virtue of the confidence and trust reposed in me by the said executrix on her said last will and testament which has been duly admitted to record in the office of the county and Commonwealth aforesaid and in execution of said trust and as executor of the said Sarah Walker and in consideration of the premises do by these presents manumit emancipate and set at liberty a negro woman named Maria late the property of the said Srah Walker and her to infant children named John and Sally and also her infant child born since the death of the said executrix named Mary. In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 26th day of December 1843.
