Be Remembered by these presents that I Patrick Rose of the County of Nelson and State of Virginia for diverse good Causes thereunto me moving have emancipated and set free my slave named and called Christian Floyd aged about thirty years and Daughter Sarah Floyd, which s. Christian Floyd is now in my services and occupancy in the County and State aforesaid and I do hereby release discharge and aquit unto the said Christian Floyd any further title right or ownership or claims to service whatever to her and her Heirs forever, Given  under my hand and seal this Seventyfifth day of February in the year of our Lord on thousand Eighthundred and Eleven.
