Know all men by these presents that I John Boram of Halifax County for divers Causes and Considerations me there to moving do now give up all my right and title to the following Negroes (To wit) James a negroe man aged 28 years Levina a negroe woman aged 19 years and Sellah aged 13 year –and it is my free will and desire that the above mentioned Negroes and their Progeny be a free people and enjoy all the privileges they are entitled to by the Laws of this Country Given under my hand and Seal the 22nd day of September 1794
