To all to whom these presents shall cause Greeting know ye that I William Bouldin of the County of Charlotte for sundry good causes & considerations me thereunto moving as well as services and labor heretofore rendered to me by my mulattoes Henry, Ned, Charles, Coleman, Hanner, Lucy, Priscilla, Molly do Emancipate discharge and make free the said Henry, Ned, Charles, Coleman, Hanner, Lucy, Priscilla, Molly & they are hence forth declared and to be deemed and considered as free people to all intents & purposes, and no more to be considered as slaves or any part of my Estate or any other person or persons claiming by from or under me, and from hence forward I do by this my Deed of Emancipation declare them free indeed. Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this third day of March 1806.
