Know all men by these presents that I Nelson Colvert of the County of Charlotte & State of Virgina do hereby manumit Emancipate & set free to all intents & purposes from all kinds & degrees of servitude due to me my heirs & assigus forever according to the law of this state the following Negro Slaves that is to say Cloey a woman, Rachel a Woman, & Milbrey a woman. As witness my hand & seal this 6th day of October 1795.

At a Court held for Charlotte County the 5th day of October 1795. This deed Emancipating Cloey, Rachel, and Mlibrey was acknowledged in Court by the said Nelson Colvert and on his motion the same is admitted to record.
