I Mary J Oldham for myself my heirs executors and administrators doth hereby emancipate and set free from and after the 1st day of January 1845 my negro man Hattley and from that day to enjoy all the rights and privileges of a free man and be subject to the laws of this commonwealth. Given under my hand and seal this 10th day of August 1845.
