At a court held for Westmoreland County the 24th day of June 1794
This deed of manumission was proved according to law by the oaths of Benjamin Dawson and H.G. Christian two of the witnesses thereto and ordered to be recorded. The court having examined the within named negroes arguable to the within mentioned act are of opinion they are above the age of twenty one years and eighteen (except Oliver Robertson and James Newman) who are above the age of forty five years, and Guy Johnson and Patty Gaskins who are infirm, and under the age of forty five, that they are of sound mind and bodies and to be certified accordingly.
